Backup a database using phpmyadmin

1. Open up ftp.
2. Navigate to your board’s folder on your server after connecting.

3. Open up config.php

4. Write down the database name. ie in the above it is itconstr_phpBB3
5. Open up a web browser.
6. Login to your web host’s control panel. (Please note that for this tutorial cPanel is assumed)

7. Click on phpmyadmin under databases.

8. Click on database name you opened up earlier.

9. Click on export.

10. Ensure all tables are highlighted, if not click select all, ensure sql is selected, untick extended inserts and tick save as file. It should now look like the below screenshot.

11. Click on go. Save file to an appropriate location.
